Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Welcome to Veldica. These terms govern your use of the Email Authentication Audit API accessed through the RapidAPI marketplace.

1. Service Usage

By using the Veldica APIs via RapidAPI, you agree to these terms. The API is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

2. Accuracy of Information & Caveats

The API assesses public DNS records to provide heuristic provider detection, scoring, and remediation advice. While we strive for high accuracy, treat primary provider suggestions strictly as routing hints. Veldica does not actively monitor mailbox-provider dashboards or private console settings.

You are solely responsible for any infrastructure, DNS, or mail-flow changes made based on provisional API scores. This is especially important when exact DKIM selector validation is not provided.

3. API Access and Rate Limiting

All access to the Veldica API is governed by the quotas, overages, and limits defined in your chosen RapidAPI plan. Billing is structured around "Audit Units" detailed in the response headers. If your plan does not include overage billing, requests beyond the plan allowance may be blocked by the gateway until the next billing cycle.

4. Limitation of Liability

Veldica and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes lost profits or revenues arising from your use of the API, data inaccuracies, or service unavailability.

5. Third-Party Dependencies

Our service relies on third-party infrastructure (like Google Cloud Run and RapidAPI). Any downtime, network issues, or outages inherited from these underlying platforms are beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.

6. Modifications

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this site.
